You point at one creature you can see within range, and the sound of a dolorous bell fills the air around it for a moment. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 1d8 necrotic damage. If the target is missing any of its hit points, it instead takes 1d12 necrotic damage.

At Higher Levels. The spell’s damage increases by one die when you reach 5th level (2d8 or 2d12), 11th level (3d8 or 3d12), and 17th level (4d8 or 4d12).

And, to add insult to injury, the tieflings know this is due to a pact, sealed generations ago, that infused their lineage with the essence of Asmodeus, master of the Nine Hells.

Tieflings are descended from humans, and in the broadest sense possible, they still look human. However, his infernal legacy has marked his appearance. They have long horns, which take a variety of forms. They also have thick tails, up to four to five feet long.

Racial traits of the tieflings:-

Tieflings share certain racial traits as a result of their infernal ancestry.

Feature enhancement:-

Your Intelligence score increases by 1 and your Charisma score increases by 2.

Age:-

Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans, but they live a few more years.

Alignment:-

Tieflings may not have an innate tendency toward evil, but many of them end there. Malignant or not, an outside force tilts many tieflings into chaotic alignment.

Size:-

Medium. Tieflings are roughly the size and build of humans.

Speed:-

Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Vision in the dark:-

Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in the dark and in the gloom. You can see in the twilight 60 feet away as bright light, and in the dark as twilight. In the dark you cannot distinguish colors, only shades of gray.

Infernal resistance:-

You have resistance to fire damage.

Infernal legacy:-

You know the Thaumaturgy trick . When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Infernal Suppression spell as a 2nd level spell like Toll the dead 5e, Healing Word 5e once with this trait and use it again when you complete a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Darkness spell once with this trait and use it again when you complete a long rest. The characteristic with which you cast these spells is Charisma.

A Broad Spectrum

Humans reach adulthood around 19 years of age and live less than a century.

Humans do not tend toward a particular alignment. Among them are the best and the worst.

Size:-

Medium. The height and build of humans vary widely, from just 5 feet to over 6 feet (1.8m).

Speed:-

Your walking speed is 30 feet (6 squares).

Languages:-

You can speak, read and write common, as well as an additional language of your choice. Humans normally learn the language of other people they deal with, even occult dialects. They are fond of using words from other languages in their conversations: curses in orc, elven musical expressions, dwarf military phrases, and so on.

Skills:-

You win competitions in a skill of your choice.

Alternative Human Attributes:-

If your campaign uses the optional feat rules, your DM may allow you to use these alternate attributes, which together replace the original Human Ability Upgrade attribute .

Feature Improvement:-

Two of your ability scores, whichever you choose, increase by 1.

Dowry:-

You obtain a feat of your choice.
